Fancy lace agate from the Chihuahua Desert in Mexico has a sweet exposed druzy pocket that gives the pendant a special sparkle and adds to the one of a kind nature of the piece. Garnet, brass and hematite beads enhance the beauty of the stone which hangs on an 18 inch double strand braided leather necklace with adjustable chain and claw closure. Total drop from leather cord 3.5 inches, pendant stone is .82 inch X 2.15 inches.
Handmade pendant stone and bail. Pendant stone from a slab purchased from the Chihuahua Desert Gem and Mineral Show vendor from the mine in Mexico where the stone was harvested. This is one of 4 pendant stones I cut, ground and polished into its pendant shape. The bail is handmade from aluminum with a hand make bail extension of beads that hang from the necklace chain.
