Picture jasper is a favorite for many because of the variety of multi-colored veining patterns that are characteristic for the stone. Picture jasper is a petrified or silicated mud that dripped into gas pockets in molten lava and is found worldwide. I found this pendant stone at one of my favorite rock shops. This is a large and bold pendant that I end-wrapped and created a loop atop the piece for an 18 inch braided leather cord. The pendant stone is 1.23 inches X 3.1 inches.
